Create your own games and make new friends this summer! Spend the week building, creating, and collaborating on awesome new projects with your Codeverse Community.
Codeverse is an award-winning creativity platform for kids ages 6+, inspiring and empowering kids to bring their ideas to life while developing skills that last a lifetime.
Our code editor and development environment are friendly and intuitive, encouraging campers to inspect and experiment with their code. Hits, syntax, auto-completion, real-time error messages, and many other features make coding easily accessible to first-time learners.
Campers can pause and inspect their running projects. The ability to step through their work, and see the cause and effect of each piece of code, helps promote experimentation and understanding. Campers can even reverse the execution, to go back in time and inspect what their code was doing before breakpoints.
Codeverse Studio includes a huge library of familiar objects (such as animals, shapes, and food) which kids can see and easily interact with. Similar to objects and classes found in other programming languages, but easier to understand and interact with, KidScript objects allow kids to bring their ideas to life quickly, promoting a sense of excitement, pride, and accomplishment.
Our Guides come from top universities, have backgrounds as educators, performers, and computer programmers, and, most importantly, have supportive and fun personalities to ensure our kids stay engaged with learning.
Guides must go through a 5 step interview process and a 20-hour certification program in order to start hosting classes with Codeverse. The result? A rockstar team that is beloved by kids and parents alike!
Codeverse Guides will guide their campers through a 5-day course that will reimagine what it means to be a creator. Through collaboration and learning coding fundamentals using our proprietary coding language, KidScript, campers will be able to develop functional games and apps, make new friends, and grow one step closer to becoming the next great creator!
AM sessions run from 9am-11am CDT daily
PM session run from 12pm-2pm CDT daily
Day 1: Coding Fundamentals - Our expert Guides introduce campers to the universal concepts of coding through a series of highly-engaging activities. Earn digital achievement badges completing coding challenges.
Day 2: Game Development - Create jaw-dropping mobile apps and video games! Campers learn how to storyboard, design, and build their very own share-worthy projects using real code.
Day 3: Field Trips - Blast off and explore deep space (and learn about the future of space exploration) during a fun and educational virtual field trip, hosted by our Guides.
Day 4: Collaboration Skills - Teamwork makes the dream work. Campers work together to problem-solve, squash bugs (in their code!), learn advanced coding concepts, and practice giving and receiving feedback.
Day 5: Share Space - On the last day of camp, kids present their coding creations to family and fellow virtual campers. Every camper can submit their mobile app or game to the Codeverse App Store, the first app store built for kids.

"Our son William absolutely loved it and gained more confidence with his gaming during this week of camp. He really enjoyed spending time with people who had the same level of interest that he has for esports. It also opened his and our eyes to what is involved in playing and/or training for esports."
"I had a super time at the Esports Camp! Lovely to meet so many people IRL, and geek out with our next generation of leaders and changers in the space."
"The gaming was great because I had people to play with and I got to try new things. Our coach(Sidney) was nice and a good coach and got along with everyone and the overnight stay part was ok"
"Apparently his coach helped him with a mistake ritual. I am so thankful as this will help the screaming decrease. Ha! He improved high ground re-takes, game sense and side jumps and I have no idea what any of that means. So thank you!"
"I really improved on my team communication skills. This was my first real competitive experience, and I think it was a lot of fun, and very valuable. I really enjoyed working as a team, and cooperating with others to reach our goal."
"My takeaway from this camp was how health and other activities play a role into video games. I also loved learning from the Cavs coach and what his daily routine is like."
"I learned how to work with my overwatch team much better than I could have without camp."
"This was awesome everybody was very nice and they helped me understand the game better"
"Rambo was very knowledgeable about things you can do outside of the game like stretches and your mindset, not just in the game. My overall gameplay became better because of that."
We are running esports camps with some of the best venues, teams, coaches and events around North America. As new dates and locations become available, signup to be the first to know.
